Betty Mae McDowell of Festus, Missouri passed away February 26, 2020 at Fountainbleau Nursing Center at the age of 87 years. She was born January 1, 1933 in St. Louis, Missouri the daughter of the late Lester and Eva (Zahner) McDowell. She was raised by her mother and stepfather, William Robison. Betty is survived by two sisters; Johnnie Toolen of Festus, Missouri and Judith Dennington and husband, Al also of Festus, Missouri. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Betty was preceded in death by her brother; William Robison Jr. and her sister; Linda Jean Clark, and two brothers-in-law; John Toolen and Russ Clark. Betty enjoyed doing word search puzzles and playing Bingo and Yahtzee. She also liked to do various crafts at the Nursing Center. Betty was a huge fan of Elvis Presley. Graveside services will be held on Monday, March 2, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Arcadia Valley Memorial Park. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.brysonfuneralhome.com.
