Betty Sharp

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Betty Sharp, age 85, who passed on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at Parkland Hospital in Farmington. She was born on Thursday, September 11, 1941, in Hayti, to the late Oscar Huey and Lula Eva (Brown) Gaskins

Betty dedicated her life to her family and home, embodying the true spirit of a devoted homemaker. In her earlier years, Betty enjoyed collecting dolls and going to yard sales.

In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her husband, William "Bill" Sharp (1996); sons, Dennis Sharp, Steven Sharp and Darryl Sharp; siblings, Harley Gaskins, Roy Gaskins, Gary Gaskins, Doris Newton, Katherine Lentz, Lottie Garrett and Judy White.

Betty is survived by her loving children, Noah Sharp (Sara Abney), Judy Boren and husband Bruce, Noah Sharp, Linda Guifoyle (Les Brickhouse), Angie Jones, and Kenny Sharp; grandchildren, Layton Sharp, Delanie Sharp, Emmersyn Sharp, Nick Sharp, Kimberly Cosby (Chad), Becca Stecker (Zeke), Hannah Carmody (Noah), Bruce Boren, Jr., Jennifer Reeves (Robert), Dana Starr (Sam), Chris Sharp (Macey), Michael Goforth, Amanda Sharp, David Sharp and Julie Sharp; twenty-two great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchild; sisters, Inez Hestal and Ruby Willright; daughter in-law, Vada Sharp;

A graveside service will be held at Leadwood Cemetery in Leadwood, Missouri, Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at 1:00 PM. Reverend Mike Barton will be officiating. Betty Ruth Sharp will be missed dearly by all who knew her, but her warmth and kindness will forever remain in our hearts. May she rest in peace.
