Beverly Gail Burns

Beverly Gail (O’Neail) Burns, age 75, of Bonne Terre passed away Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born on Thursday, August 24, 1950, in Fletcher, MO to the late Ernest and Mary (DeClue) O’Neail. 

Beverly was an extraordinary woman who dedicated over twenty years of her life to owning and operating Burns Home Assembly. Her unwavering commitment to her work was matched only by her devotion to her family and her faith. A faithful member of Grace Point Pentecostal Church in Park Hills, Beverly lived a life anchored in love and community. 

She found joy in simple pleasures—whether it was crocheting, riding horses, or taking long walks in nature. Beverly had a particular fondness for hot rod cars, often admiring the vehicles her husband, Floyd, showcased at his car lot. However, her greatest joy came from spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, who were her pride and joy.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Linda Burns and Bonnie O’Neail.

 Beverly is survived by her loving husband, Floyd E. Burns; children, Rhonda Payne and husband Don, Jeff Burns and wife Jennifer, Darrell Burns and wife Dallas, Brad Burns and wife Sharon; twenty-one grandchildren; forty-nine great-great grandchildren; sisters, Leitha Rayl and husband Alan, Sandra Heuer and husband Joe; brothers, Rev. Jay O’Neail and wife Debbie, Steven O’Neail and wife Lisa, Rodney O’Neail and wife Ramona, Randy O’Neail and wife Angie, Michael O’Neail; along with several nieces, nephews, friends and family. 

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 26, 2025, from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM at C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre. Visitation will resume on Saturday, September 27, 2025 at 9:00 AM until time of service at 11:00 AM at C.Z. Boyer & Son Chapel in Bonne Terre with Rev. Jay O’Neail officiating. Interment will follow at Adams Hillcrest Cemetery in Bonne Terre. Arrangements are under the care and direction of C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre.
