Bill J. Davis

Bill J. Davis, 87, Farmington passed away October 9, 2014 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis. He was born August 25, 1927 in Calp, Arkansas. Bill was a member of the National Electrical Contractors Association, the Hopewell Masonic Lodge #239 in Lesterville, and was also a Rotarian for many years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Marion William and Sarah Efffie (Williams) Davis; three brothers, Claude, R. G. and Wayne Davis; five sisters, Mable Edmonston, Paula McMunn, Verl Jarl, Levonda Trinkler and Bea Lacey. Bill is survived by his wife Betty (Sherrill) Davis; two sons, Larry Davis of Farmington, Jack Davis and wife Rhea of Farmington; four grandchildren, Melanie Davis, Marta (Mike) Vishy, Christa (Todd) McKinney, Sarah Hand; five great-grandchildren, Jake Vishy, Max and Anna McKinney, Noah, Maggie and Grace Hand; sister, Clara Ware of Malden, MO. Visitation will be Sunday, October 12, 2014 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Desloge. Service will be Monday at 11:00 AM at the C. Z.
