Bill Tedford Sr.

Billie Gene Tedford Sr. of Ironton, Missouri passed away December 16, 2023 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born March 4, 1940 in Saline County, Illinois and was raised by his grandparents, Richard and Orpha Byrd. On November 13, 1966 he was united in marriage to Della Lou Wisdom who preceded him in death on January 9, 2011. To this union seven children were born: Billy Tedford Jr. who preceded him in death, Orpha Tedford of Ironton, James Tedford of Ironton, Richard Tedford (Rebecca) of Pilot Knob, Stacy Tedford of Ironton, Glen Tedford of Ironton, and Tonya Tedford of Arcadia. Also surviving are nineteen grandchildren, ten great grandchildren as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Bill was preceded in death by his wife; Della, his son; Billy, daughter-in-law; Heather Tedford, and two grandsons; Jerry Law and James Wyatt Tedford.
