Billie Jean Penberthy

          Billie Jean Penberthy, 90, passed away February 17, 2021, at her home surrounded by family and friends.  She was born December 20, 1930, in Frankclay, to the late Enell and Olga (Glore) House.  Billie Jean was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Park Hills where she was a PSR Teacher for the church.  She was also a member of the Sunshine Club and Mother of Patrons.  Billie Jean was an excellent bowler and she was very active in her kids and grandkid’s sporting events.

          She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harold Eugene “Pig” Penberthy; siblings, Jerry Bob House, Linda Jane McCoy and Cheryl Rickman.

          Billie Jean is survived by her children, Jerry Penberthy, Van Penberthy and special friend Mary, Fonda Moser and husband John, Greg Penberthy and wife Lee Ann; five grandchildren, Larry (Lacey) Penberthy, Aaron Penberthy, Andrew Moser, Adam (Kelsey) Moser, and Lauren Moser; one great-granddaughter, Amelia Bowyer; sister in-law, Linda Lou (Bernard) Pashia; many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends also survive.

          Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Sunday, February 21, 2021, from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM.  The service will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Farmington, Monday, February 22, 2021 at 10:00 AM with Father Jim French officiating.  Interment will follow at Immaculate Conception Catholic Cemetery in Park Hills.  Memorials may be directed in honor of Billie Jean’s memory, to Heart and Soul Hospice or Park Hills Senior Center Meals on Wheels.
