Billy Ames

            Billy Ames, 36, of Bismarck, passed away November 11, 2018. He was born on March 26, 1982, in Farmington, to Bill Ames, Jr. and Laurie (Henry) Braun. Billy drove race cars from the age of 13-21 at several area race tracks. He loved the outdoors, fishing, hiking, and St. Louis Cardinals Baseball.

            He was preceded in death by his grandpa, Phillip Henry; and grandparents, William and Bertha Ames.

            Billy is survived by his mother, Laurie Braun and husband Joe; father, Bill Ames, Jr. and wife Joyce; siblings, Katie (Adam) Weiss, Lauren Braun, Michael Braun; nephews, Ethan and Logan Weiss; grandma, Shirley Henry; several aunts, uncles and cousins; and a special friend, Maycie Murphy.

            Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home – Taylor Chapel, Thursday, November 15, 2018 from 10:00 AM until service time at 1:00 PM. Reverend Leon Miller will be officiating. Memorials may be directed to the Ames Family c/o C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home.
