Billy Ray Nanna

Billy Ray Nanna, age 89 passed away on Sunday, January 8, 2017 at his home near Fredericktown, Missouri. He was born on November 29, 1927 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, a son of John Raymond and Lola Grace (Nichols) Nanna.  On September 12, 1946 in St. Louis, Missouri he was united in marriage to Velma Rose Hinkle, she preceded him in death on September 2, 2013. His parents and four brothers and one sister also precedes him.    He is survived by two sons & daughters-in-law - Mike & Shelia Nanna of Fredericktown and Russ & Judy Nanna of Imperial, Missouri; two grandchildren - Mark (Kim) Nanna and Amy (Steve) Gornati; two great-grandchildren - Dylan Gornati and Aidan Gornati.     Billy was a United States Navy Vetern; he had worked at Western Electric in St. Louis as supervisor; his hobbies were hunting, fishing and working puzzles.  A private memorial service may be planned at a later date.     The family wishes a heartfelt thank you to Safe Harbor Hospice for being so caring and helpful in their time of need.  Condolences may be posted on this website.
