Bobbie Jo Hinkle

     Bobbie Jo Hinkle, age 84, of Farmington, passed away Sunday, October 24, 2021, at Scenic Nursing & Rehab Center in Herculaneum. She was born on Friday, February, 12, 1937, in Union City, Tennessee.  She enjoyed going fishing and watching the St. Louis Cardinals.

     Bobbie was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Nellie (Gray) Gilton, husband, Herbert Keith Hinkle; daughter, Connie Wideman; sister, Mary Sue Hill; brother, Ilar Gilton and a sister in infancy.

     She is survived by her son, Larry Whalen (Wendy); three step-daughters, Sharon Skaggs (Billy), Linda Armstrong (Rick), Michelle Allen (Brandon); five grandchildren, Tallie Mordecai, Trisha Adams (Rodney), Benjamin Mordecai (Jennifer), Zachary Whalen, Kelsey Rhodes (Denver); seven great-grandchildren, Bre’Anna Phillips (Zachary), Dalton Adams (Courtney), Trae Adams (Sara), Hunter Adams, Lily Mordecai, Mayci Mordecai and Dru Douglas; two great-great-grandchildren, Ryder Adams and Dawson Jo Phillips.

     Visitation will be held Thursday, October 28, 2021, at the C.Z. Boyer & Son – Taylor Chapel in Farmington from 10:00 AM until service time of 12:00 PM noon with Rev. Alan David officiating. Burial to follow at Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery in Brunot. Memorials can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association. View obituary and share condolences online at www.www.czboyer.com
