Bobby Joe Rodgers, Sr.

Mr. Bobby Joe Rodgers, Sr., passed away late Friday night, June 17, 2011, at the Stockhoff Nursing Home, in Fredericktown, MO., at the age of 83 years, 7 months & 12 days. Bobby was born Nov. 5, 1927, in Bonne Terre, MO., and was the son of Joseph & Essie Lucille 'Aubuchon' Rodgers. Also preceeding-in-death were: a stillborn daughter, Linda Lee Rodgers and a sister, Anna Belle Rodgers, in-infancy.

Bobby was a US Navy Veteran and member of the Pine Log Baptist Church.

Survivors Include : his wife, Virginia Marie 'Hodge' Rodgers; a daughter, Sharon Kay 'Mrs. Denny' Thomure; 2 sons: Bobby Joe Rodgers, Jr., and Larry Wayne Rodgers, all of Ste. Genevieve. 2 Sisters: Rose Ann 'Mrs. Marty' Jenkins, of Texas & Mary Lou 'Mrs. Warren' Lodholtz, of Farmington. Also, 4 Grandchildren; 3 Great-Grandchildren & 2 Step, Great-Grandchildren.

Visitation : Wednesday, 4-6 p.m.

Memorial Service : Wednesday, 6:00 p.m., June 22, 2011

at : TAYLOR Funeral Service CHAPEL, with Rev. Tim Mattingly officiating.
