Bonnie Jean Hayes

Bonnie Jean Hayes passed away July 6, 2016 in Ironton, Missouri at the age of 63 years. She was born on January 25, 1953 in Ironton, Missouri, daughter to the late Asa and Mazel (Pennington) Poinsett. On December 22, 1990 she was united in marriage to John Hayes who survives. Also surviving is a son Greg Wencker of Bonne Terre, Missouri; stepsons John R. Hayes Jr. and wife Alicia of Park Hills, Missouri and Kevin Hayes of Affton, Missouri; a brother, Charles Poinsett of Farmington, Missouri, sisters Agnes Lashley and Joann Francis of Pilot Knob, Missouri; seven grandchildren: MacKenzie, Garrett, Gavin, Grant, Stephanie, Serena and Vincent as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents Asa and Mazel Poinsett, a brother Robert Poinsett and a sister-in-law Patti Poinsett. Bonnie was a Licensed Practical Nurse and previously worked at Saint Mary's Hospital in Pilot Knob and Iron County Hospital.
