Bonnie June Martin-Baker, 70, of Farmington formerly of Kennett passed away November 30, 2019 at Barnes Jewish hospital surrounded by her sisters. She was born April 15, 1949 in Dunklin County Missouri. Bonnie enjoyed spending time with her family and cruising.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, Enoch Hess and Mary Eva (Rushing) McCarty; the father of her children and husband of 47 years James Martin, and her second loving husband, Wallace Baker and her loving son, James Anthony “Toby” Martin. She was also proceeded in death by seven brothers, Richard, Donald Lee, Charles, William “Bill”, Thomas, Jimmy, and Jerry McCarty; as well as four sisters, Mary Agnes McCarty, Mildred McCarty McElwrath, Betty Stockton Braska, and Alice (McCarty) Wilkerson.
Bonnie is survived by her daughter, Bonnie Marie Simmons; grandsons, Brant and Chase Martin; one great-grandson, Rylan Martin; she is also survived by her sisters, Pat Martin-Winstead, Peggy McMillin and husband Charles, Anna Noble and husband Kerry, and Rhonda Sanders and husband Thomas “Boone”; as well as a host of loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Wednesday, December 4, 2019 from 10:00 AM until Noon at the First United Pentecostal Church in Kennett, followed by a funeral service at noon. Interment will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Kennett. Arrangements are under the direction of C.Z. Boyer & Son – Taylor Chapel in Farmington.
