Bonnie June Vaughn

Mrs. Bonnie June Vaughn passed away late Thursday afternoon, January 5, 2012, at her Baptist Home residence in Ironton, Missouri, at the age of 86 years, 7 months & 1 day. Bonnie was born in Elsberry, Missouri, on June 4, 1925. Bonnie was the daughter of Gordon Whiteside and Zelma 'Bowton' Whiteside. Also preceding-in-death were: her husband, Rev. Virgil Vaughn (on Jan. 9, 1989); a sister, Charla Dean O'Brien; and a great-granddaughter, Baby Ava Nicole Yates (2009).

Bonnie was a member of the Kirkwood, MO., Baptist Church. She and her husband, Rev. Virgil Vaughn formerly pastored the Flat River, MO., Baptist Church for many years.

Survivors Include: 2 sons - Phil Vaughn, of Farmington; Randal (& Alison) Vaughn, of Waco, Texas. 3 grandchildren: Leah Vaughn, of Waco, TX; Melissa (& Aaron) Yates, of Farmington; Samantha (& A.J.) Rawson, of Desloge. 3 great-grandchildren: Elliana; Brady, & Kelcey Ann (born January 8, 2012) ! Also, 1 more great-granddaughter is expected.

Visitation : Sunday, 5-8 p.m. Visitation Resumes - Monday, @ 6:30 a.m.

Funeral : Monday, 11:00 a.m., January 9, 2012

at : TAYLOR Funeral Service CHAPEL, with Dr. William C. Miller officiating.

Interment : St. Francois Memorial Park Cemetery, rural Bonne Terre
