Brenda Faye Baker went home to be with the LORD on Tuesday, April 16, 2024. Brenda was born on Sunday, May 2, 1948 to Junior and Vivadean Adams. To this family was an addition of two loving sisters, Debbie and Tammy. Brenda was a graduate of Greenville High School, Greenville, MO. She was a loving mother of four children, 15 grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren, with one on the way. She worked as a CNA for Saint Anthony's Hospital for several years. She had a heart that showed compassion and caring for those in need. While Brenda was raising her children, she was also known as the neighborhood mom to her children’s friends, and everyone would affectionately refer to her as “Mom.” Brenda loved the LORD. That love showed when you were in her presence, when raising her children she also served her church as a youth leader and Sunday school teacher. Brenda’s home church was Praise Temple, of Fredericktown, MO. She had a way with words and enjoyed writing stories. She had a beautiful voice and enjoyed singing. One of her favorite songs, her family loved to hear her sing was, "In the Garden". Brenda was also a great Domino and Yahtzee player, which she enjoyed playing and watching movies with her grandchildren.

 In addition to her parents, Brenda was also preceded in death by a son, Jeff Baker; grandson, Daniel Baker; and daughter -in-law, Denise Baker. 

She is survived by her sons, John (Renee) Baker, Ron (Amanda) Baker; daughter, Patricia Baker (Michael); fourteen grandchildren, Dustin (Holly), James, Nathanael, John (Grace), Rebekah (Jeremy), Cheyenne, Benjamin, Joseph, Paul, Grace, and David; three great-grandchildren, Lilly, Katherine, Connor, and one on the way, Atticus; two sisters, Tammy and Debbie (Kelly); her Irish brother, nieces, nephews and a host of family and friends. 

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Arrangements are under the direction of C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre.
