Brenda Denise Ramo

          Brenda Denise (Shoemaker) Ramo, 51, of Leadwood, passed away May 2, 2022, at St. Clare Hospital in Fenton.  She was born August 24, 1970, in Birmingham, Alabama, to Larry Shoemaker and Frances (Gilliland) McDowell.  Brenda enjoyed reading, crafting, butterflies, and anything Stephen King, but most of all she loved and cared for her grandchildren.  Anyone who knew Brenda, knew she had a kind and gentle heart and will be dearly missed.

          She was preceded in death by her father; grandparents, Fred and Evolia Gilliland, L.E. Shoemaker and wife Agnes; as well as her beloved dog, Dexter.

          Brenda is survived by her husband of 31 years, John Ramo, Jr.; mom, Frances McDowell; children, Sean Ramo, Brandon Ramo, and Sarah Williams; grandchildren, Olivia, Jonathan, Emersyn, Grayson, Cayde and Leon; and one brother, Brian Shoemaker.

          A memorial visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Leadwood, Saturday, May 7, 2022, from 12:00 PM until service time of 2:00 PM.  Reverend Chuck Lotz will be officiating.  The family would prefer memorials be directed to the funeral home, to help with funeral expenses, in lieu of flowers.
