Brenda Penberthy

Brenda Penberthy, 75, of Bismarck, passed away peacefully on April 27, 2024, at Country Meadows in Park Hills. She was born on February 5, 1949, in Bismarck, to the late Acy Monroe and Nancy Leona (Tyree) Hartley.  Brenda was a member of the Pentecostal Church of God in Belgrade.  She enjoyed singing in churches, fishing and gardening.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Billie, Bobby, Edward “Ed” and Ronny Hartley; and one sister, Doris Hartley.

Brenda is survived by her son, Paul Penberthy and wife Brandy; grandson, McKenzie McClain; siblings, Louetta “Lou” (Ed) Pritchett, John (Doris) Hartley, and Danny (Ruth Ann) Hartley; several nieces, nephews other family members and friends also survive.   

Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Caldwell Chapel in Park Hills, Tuesday, April 30, 2024 from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 12:00 PM with Pastor Michael Barton officiating.  Interment will follow at Adams Cemetery in Frankclay.
