Brenda Sue Stricklin

Brenda Sue Stricklin, 72, of Farmington passed away July 25, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. She was born October 15, 1950, in Irondale, MO to the late Omer Delmar and Bertha Irene (Brown) Pyatt.

Brenda loved spending time with family, friends and her fur baby, Kiwi. She enjoyed helping others which is why her final selfless deed was to donate her body to science at St. Louis University School of Medicine. Brenda touched many lives and will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Rodger Ray Stricklin and son, Bradley Ray Stricklin.

Brenda is survived by two children, Rodger Lee Stricklin and wife Kathy, Renee’ Homan-Bradley and husband Mark; four grandchildren, Dara Homan, Rachel Davis, Kaly Homan and Briana Stricklin; two great-grandchildren, Ember Ray Overbey and Presley Davis; four siblings, Wanda DuVal, Nancy Frago and husband Lynn, Dorothy Sikes, Merle Pyatt along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Celebration of Brenda’s Life will be held on August 6, 2023, from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM at Ashlar Hall 316 West Main Street Park Hills, Missouri 63601

Arrangements were under the direction of C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home – Taylor Chapel in Farmington. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
