Brett L. Tiefenauer

Brett L. Tiefenauer, 27, of Desloge passed away September 10, 2010 at his residence. He was born May 11, 1983 in Farmington. Brett was a member of Primrose Baptist Church. Bretts stature was great and he worked extremely hard to overcome so many things: From birth related problems that eventually took his life to finishing college and getting his degree, Brett met these challenges head on and never had an unkind word to say about anyone. He was diagnosed with epilepsy at 15 and still ran cross country, played a little basketball, and graduated in 2001 from North County High School. Those who took the time to get to know him and see the goodness in his heart and his love for everyone will never be the same. Weve lost our "hero" but heaven has received a Superstar! He will be deeply missed by family and friends. Brett was preceded in death by his grandfathers Bobby Gene "Pete" Tiefenauer and Robert N. Turner and great-grandmother Ruth "Gigi" Henderson. He is survived by his parents, Jeff and Susan (Turner)Tiefenauer of Desloge; two sisters, Brittani Tiefenauer of Farmington and Heather (Mrs.Alonso) Lara of Doe Run; two special nieces Elena and Meleah Lara; grandmothers, Rose Marie Tiefenauer and Nellie Jo Turner both of Desloge; and special friend Maridee Lawson of Farmington. Visitation will be Sunday, September 12, 2010 from 5 until 9 p.m. at C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Desloge. Service will be Monday, September 13, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Chapel in Desloge with Rev. Ken Vandiver officiating. Interment will follow at St. Francois Memorial Park.
