Bruce Alan Davis

Bruce Alan Davis, a cherished husband, father, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on August 31, 2026, at the age of 64. Born on November 3, 1961, in Overland, Missouri, Bruce lived a life filled with love, laughter, and adventure, leaving a mark on the hearts of those who knew him.

A dedicated family man, Bruce is lovingly remembered by his wife, Kristin Davis, and their children, Amanda Davis, Erica Davis, Lane Wills, Ryder Wills, and Colton Wills. He is also survived by his brothers, Randy Davis and Keith (Judy) Davis, and sister Wenda "Wendy" (Gale) Todd, as well as his closest little brother, Ken "Bud" Hasty, nephew Keith Davis Jr, and goddaughter, Averie “Punkie” Thomas, in addition to The Hasty Family. The bond they shared was deep and unwavering, reflecting a family rooted in love and support.

Bruce was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Dimple Davis, brother, Mike Davis and his wife Cathy, stepfather, Ken Hasty, and a nephew, Brad Sander. 

Bruce's life revolved around his passion for trucking, where he embraced the open road with enthusiasm and skill as an over-the-road truck driver. He spent countless hours behind the wheel, relishing the freedom of the highway and the camaraderie of fellow truckers. In addition to his work, Bruce found joy in simple pleasures like fishing, often expressing his love for nature and the peaceful moments spent by the water.

Family gatherings were a highlight of Bruce's life, where laughter echoed and cherished memories were created. He was an incredible cook; his specialty being smoked meats and BBQ. No one ever left hungry when Bruce was around. He had an incredible ability to connect with others, making everyone feel welcome and loved. His warm smile and kind heart will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know him.

The Davis family will hold a visitation at C.Z. Boyer Funeral Home in Bonne Terre on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, starting at 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 10, 2026, at 11:00 am, where friends and family will gather to celebrate Bruce's life and legacy.

In this time of loss, the Davis family invites all who knew Bruce to come together in remembrance, sharing stories and laughter as they reflect on a life well-lived and the countless ways he touched their lives. Bruce Alan Davis will be forever missed but never forgotten.
