Bucky Daugherty

     Richard Lynn “Bucky” Daugherty, age 70, of Bonne Terre, passed away August 18, 2022, at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Bucky was born on December 30, 1951, in Bonne Terre to the late Homer Richard and Dorothy (Rosener) Daugherty, Jr.  

     Bucky was a member of the IBEW Local 4 Union. He was an avid St. Louis sports fan and enjoyed golfing and fishing in his spare time.

     In addition to his parents, Bucky was preceded in death by one brother, Dennis Daugherty and sister-in-law Donna (Stanton) Daugherty.

     Bucky is survived by his loving wife Gerry (Mantei) Daugherty of 47 years; son, Rick Daugherty and wife Robin; step-son, Chad Rice and wife Lisa; three grandchildren, Richard J., Nicholas and Rachel Daugherty; two step-grandsons, Corbin and Garrett Rice; two sisters, Beverly Isgrig and husband Charles, Cathy DiBello and husband Patrick along with other family and friends that knew and loved him.

     Visitation will be held at C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre, Tuesday, August 23, 2022, from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.  Visitation will resume at C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 24, 2022, from 10:00 A.M. until  service time of 1:00 P.M. with Reverend Randy Murphy officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Bonne Terre.
