Carl Clinton Scaggs

Carl Clinton Scaggs Sr. of Annapolis, Missouri passed away June 5, 2022 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born February 1, 1947 in Annapolis, Missouri. Carl was preceded in death by his parents: Harold Clinton Scaggs and Dorothy June (Walker) Scaggs and Helen Maxine (Stevens) Scaggs, his wife: Nellie (Hampton) Scaggs, and two brothers: Jesse Scaggs and Bobby Scaggs. Carl is survived by his wife, Carolyn Sue (Liggett) Bennett Scaggs of Annapolis, Missouri, his sons: Chuck Scaggs and wife Heather of Ellington, Missouri, and Zack Scaggs and wife, Ashton of Belleview, Missouri and daughter, Lorie Kurtz and husband, Jason of Farmington, Missouri. Two brothers survive: Charles Scaggs and wife, Linda of Annapolis, Missouri and Roy Scaggs and wife, Tammy of St. Roberts, Missouri as well as a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren and many, many friends. Carl was a member of the Annapolis Church of the Nazarene. Carl worked for SGI for forty-two years. He worked as a shovel operator and mechanic. He enjoyed driving dump trucks. Carl liked to travel and he and Sue went somewhere most every day prior to his illness. He loved to laugh and joke around with everyone. Most of all Carl loved to spend time with his family. The family would like to extend their thanks to everyone who prayed for Carl, the Annapolis Nazarene Church and Safe Harbor Hospice. Memorials may be made to the Annapolis Church of the Nazarene.
