Carl Alton Williams

Carl Alton "Pete" Williams age 79 of Annapolis, Missouri passed away on Monday, July 16, 2018 at the Missouri Baptist Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. He was born on August 4, 1938 in Ironton, Missouri a son of Paul Charles and Stella Jewell (Miller) Williams. He is preceded in death by his parents and two sons – Carl D. Williams and Peter King; two brothers – Ray and Earl Williams and one sister – Marilyn Lewis. On September 27, 1985 in Ironton he was united in marriage to Patricia Lee New who survives in Annapolis. Other survives include: two sons & daughters-in-law – Gary & Tara Williams of Piedmont, Missouri and Robert & Kathy King of Des Arc, Missouri; two daughters & sons-in-law – Kaye & Don Gwosdz of Houston, Texas and Sandra & Scott Halek of Annapolis; one brother – Roy Williams of Annapolis and seventeen grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren. Pete was a self employeed logger; he enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, talking about the log woods and spending time with his family and was a member of the Liberty Baptist Church. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at Wilson Funeral Home in Fredericktown, Missouri. Services will be held at 1:30 p.m., on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at Wilson Funeral Home with interment follow at a later date at the Polk Libert Cemetery in Iron County.
