Carla Crocker

Carla Crocker, 42, of Park Hills, passed away May 3, 2021, at North Kansas City Medical Center in Kansas City Missouri.  She was born September 11, 1978 in Farmington, to Mark Bailey and Mary Mason Bailey.  Throughout her career, Carla served others with her generous heart.  She was the past director for the SEMO Family Violence Council and Division of Family Services, advocating for children.  It was through this passion for giving that she grew the Parkland Health Center Foundation to provide the best possible care for the community she loved so much.  She organized numerous fundraisers for local charities and organizations, plus served on many boards throughout St. Francois County.  There were several events Carla was the guest speaker and many days you would hear her on the radio.

Carla was a survivor and activist of pancreatic cancer. Through all of this, Carla’s passion in life was to celebrate and love her family and friends.  There was not a birthday or life event that passed without a party.

She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Gloria Mason and grandfather, Marion Bailey.

Carla was survived by the loves of her life; children, Nash Mason Davis and Hattie Lee Crocker; mother, Mary Mason; father, Mark Bailey and wife Shelly; siblings, Matt (Kaitlynn) Bailey, Joe Bailey, Zach (Bridget) Reitz, and Alex Reitz; grandfather, Norman Mason; grandmother, Janet Bailey; loving companion, Justin Warren.  Carla will be deeply missed by family, friends, and the community who loved her.

A private memorial will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, with a private interment to follow at St. Francois Memorial Park.  A “Decades” themed Celebration of Life, will be held at St. Francois Winery, Wednesday, June 16 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, we ask that you contribute to the Nash and Hattie Benefit Fund, through any First State Community Bank location or, the Parkland Health Center Foundation to continue Carla’s mission to provide quality care to the residents of the community.  You can mail a check to the Parkland Health Center Foundation 1101 W.
