Carmil "Candy" E. White

Carmil “Candy” Ernestine White, 85, of Ruma, Illinois, formerly of Annapolis, Missouri passed away Thursday, Oct 20, 2022 at R & R Country Care Senior Living, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born Thursday, June 17, 1937 in St. Francois County, to the late Oscar and Lenora (Weir) Pierce. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her loving husband, Victor White; daughter, Debbie White; five sisters and four brothers.

Carmil was a proud member of the Ironton Pentecostal Church. She loved watching the St. Louis Cardinals. She was a devoted mother who loved her family dearly. Carmil loved life and had many friends. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Carmil is survived by her loving daughter, Sandra (husband Eddie) Wilson; grandchildren, Dustin (wife Amy) Sanders, Sherry Wilson, Nicholas Wilson, Brandon (wife Erin) Wilson, Heather (husband Greg) Schilling; ten great-grandchildren; and sister, Myrtle (husband Bob) Conway.

Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre on  Wednesday, October 26, 2022 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Visitation will resume Thursday, October 27, 2022 at the funeral home from 9:00 AM until service time at 11:00 AM. Sister Jenny Nettles to officiate. Interment will follow at St. Francois Memorial Park in Bonne Terre. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to R & R Country Care Senior Living in Ruma, IL.
