Mrs. Carol Marie Reed

Carol Marie Reed of Arcadia, MO passed away October 27, 2013 at The Baptist Home at the age of seventy five years. She was born March 4, 1938 in Arcadia, MO to John Edgar and Clella "Eva" (King) Young. On November 24, 1956 she was united in marriage to Sherman Edward Reed who survives. To this union two children were born; Roger and wife Kristina Reed of Ironton, MO and Janice and husband Tony Harbison of Arcadia, MO. Also surviving are three sisters; Wanda Russell of Ironton, MO, Wilda Blanton of Arcadia, MO and Ruth and husband Bill Schrum of O'Fallon, MO, five grandchildren; Crystal, Gabriel, Clayton, Morgan, and Cody, a great granddaughter, Kaylan and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Carol was preceded in death by a sister, Hazel Persons. Carol was a graduate of Ironton High School. She was a member of Black Mountain General Baptist Church.
