Carole Marie Evelyn (Piening) Douma, formerly of Ironton, Missouri passed away August 27, 2021, in Farmington, Missouri at the age of 85 years. She was born July 31, 1936 in St. Louis, Missouri, the daughter of the late Russell William Frederick and Edna Rose (Schmalenberger) Piening.
On June 21, 1958, Carole was united in marriage to Harry Douma who preceded her in death on January 18, 2011. To this union three children were born: Daniel Douma (Kimberly) of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Joy Booth (Larry) of Farmington, Missouri, and Crystal Mace of Desloge, Missouri. Carole was preceded in death by her sisters Nita Delesdenier and Patricia Murray and a great granddaughter, Amber Lynn. She is also survived by five grandchildren: Heather, Miriam, Timothy, Maleah, and Carl, and one great grandson, Liam, as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
