Carolyn Sue Cox

Carolyn Sue Cox age 75 passed away on Thursday, November 17, 2017 at her home in Mine LaMotte, Missouri She was born on June 5, 1942 in Fredericktown, Missouri, a daughter of Harold Marion and Esther Mae (Edmond) Frey. On August 26, 1961 in Mine LaMotte she was united in marriage to Wilburn Elmo Cox, he preceded her in death on July 29, 2014, her parents also precedes her. She is survived by two sons & daughters-in-law - Dennis Allen & Tammy Cox of Fredericktown and Harold David & Brenda Cox also of Fredericktown; one brother - James Frey of Marquand; five sisters - Barbara (Harvey) Firebaugh, Sharon Lindsey and Pat (Tim) Allgier all of Mine LaMotte; Janice Rowland of Farmington, Missouri and Kelly (Bill) Heady of Fredericktown; three grandchildren - Jeremy Cox, Danni (Reece) Hamby and Angela Cox; three great-grandchildren - Adrienne Cox and Holden Hamby and Hudson Hamby. Carolyn had worked as a nurse's aide at Ozark Manor Care Center in Fredericktown, she enjoy crocheting, spending time with her family and her beloved dogs. Funeral services were held at 1:00 p.m., on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at Wilson Funeral Home with Bro. Clyde Bess officiating. Internment was at the Christian Cemetery in Fredericktown.
