Carolyn Jean Pyatt

Carolyn Jean Pyatt, 82, of Park Hills, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 13, 2024, at her home surrounded by family, in Park Hills, MO. She was born on October 1, 1941, in Bernie MO, to her loving parents, the late James and Wanda (Riddle) Hampton.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Glen Wood Pyatt; parents; sisters, Linda Poore, and Ann; sister-in-law, Helen Hampton; brother-in-law, Virgil Richards. 

Carolyn was credentialed with the Assemblies of God in the Southern Missouri District as a Christian worker for over 20 years. She was a pillar of Big River church and known by her family as “Songbird” and loved her dog Pebbles very much. 

Carolyn will be greatly missed by her adoring family and friends. She is survived by her loving children, Glenda House, Daniel Pyatt (Cindy), and David Pyatt (Tanya). Ten grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Siblings; James Hampton, Mary Richards, Kathy Waltz, and Shirley. Many other nieces and nephews also survive.

Visitation will be held Thursday, April 18, 2024, at C.Z. Boyer & Son in Desloge from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Visitation will resume on Friday April 19, 2024, at 10:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM, with Rev. Paul Davis officiating.  Burial to follow at Adams Frankclay Cemetery.
