Carolyn Joan Sitze

Carolyn Joan Sitze, a resident of Farmington Presbyterian Manor, was born on Wednesday, February 21,1945, in Glenallen, Missouri to the late William and Ina (Greer) Sitze. She passed away on Sunday, March 22, 2026.

Carolyn was preceded in death by sisters, Louise Lee, Bernadine Alexander, Martha Sue Glover, and one brother, Boyd Sitze.

She is survived by Dorothy Cooper, Boby (Glenda) Sitze, and Willard (Mary) Sitze, along with many nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.

Carolyn graduated from Woodland High School in Marble Hill, Missouri. She moved to St. Louis and worked many years for Bemis Bag Co. and Sinclair and Rush Printing companies. She later moved to Arnold, Missouri and upon retirement moved to Farmington, Missouri. She loved collecting recipes and cookbooks. Her biggest joy was cooking. Carolyn also enjoyed watching the St. Louis Cardinals and talking on the phone.

Visitation will be held at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Homes-Wilson Chapel in Fredericktown on Sunday, March 29, 2026, from 11:00 AM until the time of service at 2:00 PM with Pastor Gene Rauls officiating. Interment will follow at Marcus Memorial Cemetery in Fredericktown. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
