Carroll Sue Williams of Ironton, Missouri passed away June 18, 2024 in Fredericktown, Missouri at the age of 81 years. She was born December 15, 1942, in Goodland, Missouri, the daughter of the late Henry D. Turner and Lucy Mae (Keith) Turner. Carroll is survived by her husband of 51 years, Donald Gene Williams of Ironton, Missouri. She is also survived by her four sons; Gregory Pippin and wife, Kay of Annapolis, Missouri, Christopher Pippin and wife, Kennis of Lafayette, Louisiana, Eric Pippin of Middlebrook, Missouri and Shawn Williams and wife, Brandy of Kirbyville, Texas; eleven grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter. Two brothers-in-law survive; Jack Williams and Larry Williams both of Ironton, her sister-in-law, Shirley Felts of Fort Worth, Texas, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Along with her parents, Carroll is preceded in death by her nine siblings: John Turner, Joe Turner, Paul Turner, Maxine Light, Gladine Hendrix, Della Cash, Carolyn Kinder, Loretta Dempsey and Pauline Huffstuttler, and her granddaughter, Erica Pippin. Carroll was baptized at the First Baptist Church in Pilot Knob. She enjoyed being a homemaker and caring for her family. She liked to cook and go camping. In her younger days she also enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and needlepoint. Most important to her was being a good wife and mother to her family. A celebration of Carroll’s life will be held on Friday, June 21, 2024, at 12:00 p.m. from Bryson Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Misty Pippin officiating. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. prior to the service.
