Casey Jones

         Casey Jones, 83, of Desloge passed away Sunday, September 11, 2016 at NHC of Desloge. He was born Monday, November 7, 1932 in Minimum, Missouri to the late J.T. and Opal (King) Jones. Casey proudly served in the United States Amry in Korea earning 3 Bronze Stars, he was a 50 year member of the Carpenters Union #1795 and a past recording secretary for the hall. The family would like to thank NHC of Desloge and Serenity Hospice for their care and attention.

In addition to his parents Casey is preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Rae (Mahurin) Jones; children, Johnnie “Frank” Jones, Patricia (Jones) Spray; grandson, Michael Steven Petty, Jr.; siblings, Marshall Jones, Marion Jones, Thelma (Jones) Chapman.

Casey is survived by children, Nancy (Jones) Petty and husband Mike and Tim Jones and wife Julie all of Desloge; grandchildren; Chris Lenhardt (Kathy), Matt Petty (Jan), Mike Petty, Jon Petty, Aubrey Jones, Megan Spray, Andrea Spray, Casey Davis (Derick), Austin Boulch, Taylor Jones; 12 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Tuesday, September 13, 2016 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Desloge. Funeral service will be Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Chapel in Desloge at 11:00 AM with Pastor Bruce Thebeau assisted by Pastor Daniel Weyand. Interment will follow at Odd Fellows in Park Hills. In lieu of flowers memorial can be directed to The Shepherds House in Desloge or Serenity Hospice.
