Catherine Mae Hughes

Catherine Mae Hughes of Ironton, Missouri passed away March 6, 2018 at her residence at the age of 75 years. She was born June 12, 1942 in Silvermines, Missouri the daughter of the late Archie and Bessie (McCallister) Blankenship. On January 31, she was united in marriage to Roy Eugene Hughes who preceded her in death on January 5, 2006. To this union three children were born; Roy Hughes Jr., Theresa Buntion and Roxanna Jones and husband, Dirk all of Ironton, Missouri. In addition to her children Catherine is survived by four grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, two brothers; Luther Blankenship and wife Ann of Graniteville, Missouri, Ricky Blankenship and with Dorothy of Graniteville, a sister; Bessie Nash also of Graniteville and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
