Cathy Young

Mrs. Edith Cathleen 'Cathy' Young passed away at her Ironton residence on Saturday afternoon, June 10, 2006, at the age of 64 years, 2 months & 7 days. Cathy was born in Poplar Bluff, MO., on April 3, 1942, & was the daughter of the late John T. Brooks Anderson & Mary 'Potter' Anderson. Also preceding were: 1 Sister, Carmen Bess, & 1 Brother, Lester Anderson.

Cathy was a member of the Doe Run First Baptist Church.

Survivors Include: her husband, Jimmy D. Young, of Ironton; 2 Sons: Kevin Wayne (& Chris) Young, of Eldon, & David M. Young, of St. Ann. 2 Brothers: Grady (& Wilma) Anderson, of Hillsboro, Joe (& Stella) Anderson, of Piggott, Ark. Also, 3 Grandchildren: Krista; Brittney & Brett.

Visitation: Monday, 12 Noon -to- 4 pm, at TAYLOR Funeral Service CHAPEL, Farmington.

Funeral: Monday, 4:00 p.m., June 12, 2006

at: TAYLOR Funeral Service CHAPEL, with Rev. Jacob Pollard & Rev. Keith Huffman officiating. Interment services will be private.
