Cecil Eugene Stone

Cecil Eugene Stone, age 95 of Marquand, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, January 3, 2024, at Claru DeVille Nursing & Rehab Center in Fredericktown. He was born on May 16, 1928, Patton, Missouri, to Arnold and Opal (Reagan) Stone.

On August 10, 1951, he was united in marriage to Jovata Jo Heitman, she preceded him in death on May 12, 2022.

He is survived by his son & daughter-in-law – Mark & Shelley Stone; grandchildren – Catie, Matthew, Shane, Scott, Trevor, Jessa, Renni and Jake Stone; thirteen great grandchildren and daughter-in-law – Mary Stone.

He is preceded in death by his wife and son – Allen Stone.

Cecil was a United States Army Veteran; he was a self-employed carpenter and enjoyed gardening, working outside on the farm, watching college basketball and the St. Louis Cardinals baseball and was a member of the Lions Club in Patton, Missouri.

Visitation will be from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m., on Friday, January 19, 2024, at Wilson Funeral Home in Fredericktown.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m., also on Friday, January 19, 2024, at Wilson

Funeral Home with full military honors.

Internment will be at a later date.
