Charles B. Meyer

Mr. Charles B. Meyer passed away Monday, Sept. 15, 2003, at Mineral Area Regional Medical Center, in Farmington, at the age of 89 years, 5 Months & 8 days. Charles was born on April 7, 1914, in Farmington, to Adam J. Meyer & Kathryn Marie 'Kollmeyer' Meyer. Also preceding-in-death were: 2 Sisters - Selma Eaton & Kathryn Currington. 4 Brothers: Earl Meyer; Warren Meyer; Albert "Tiz" Meyer & Floyd Meyer. Charles was: * a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Farmington; * a US ARMY Veteran of World War II; * a member & Past-Commander of Norman L. Rigdon VFW Post #5896 of Farmington & * a member of LePere-McCallister American Legion Post #416 of Farmington. SURVIVORS INCLUDE: His WIFE - Marie Nora 'White' Meyer, of Farmington; 1 BROTHER: Clyde Meyer, of St. Louis. Also surviving are several Nieces & Nephews. Visitation starts Wednesday, 5 p.m.,; resumes Thursday at 7:00 a.m., at TAYLOR Funeral Service CHAPEL & funeral Thursday, 11 am, Sept. 18, 2003, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Farmington, with Rev. James King officiating. Interment follows at Lutheran Cemetery, Farmington. Memorials to: St. Paul Lutheran Church, Building Fund.
