Charles "Bill" Seabourne

Mr. Charles "Bill" Seabourne passed away at his Farmington residence late Sunday morning, December 14, 2014, at the age of 87 years, 2 months & 28 days. Charles was born on September 16, 1927, in Leadwood, MO., & was the son of Henry Raymond Seabourne & Esther Elizabeth 'Robinson' Seabourne. Also preceding-in-death were : 2 brothers Jackie & Alfred Seabourne & 3 sisters, Patsy Seabourne; Thelma Browning & Louise Horn.

Bill was Honorably Discharged form the US NAVY with a Victory Medal. Bill obtained his Bachelor of Science in Education from Washington University & received his Master's of Education from the University of Missouri. Bill was one of the founders of the Rolla School of Mines for TKE Fraternity. Bill was Elementary Principal at Potosi Elementary and the Director of Elementary Education at Potosi. Bill served as Assistant Superintendent at Potosi School District. Bill was a member and Deacon at Farmington First Baptist Church. Bill loved SCUBA diving, waterskiing, spending time with his family and reading.

Survivors Include : his wife, Betty June 'Miller' Seabourne, of Farmington. 4 children: Sharon (Charles) Rice, of Independence, MO; Jerry (Jill) Seabourne, of Sparks, NV; Connie (Jim) Thebeau, of Farmington & Lori (Trent) Pyland, of Farmington. 1 sister, Reve Wilmont, of Sullivan, MO; 12 grandchildren: Chuck (Yoko) Davis; Rebecca (Michael) Cook; Kelley Davis (& Chris Saupp); Matthew (Carri) Thebeau; Jennifer (Mark) Mattina; Nicholas William Newberry (Chealsey Hughbanks); Joshua Ryan Newberry; Colby Pyland; Nicole (Dave) Worley; Heather (Jason) Mercille; Jaime (John) Shore and Ashley (Bryan) Thompson. Also surviving are numerous great-grandchildren; nieces & nephews.

Visitation : Wed., 5-8 pm; Resuming, Thurs., 6:30 - 8:00 am at the chapel

Visitation moves to : Farmington 1st Baptist Church, starting Thursday @ 9 am

Funeral : Thursday, 10:00 a.m., Dec. 18, 2014

at : Farmington First Baptist Church, with Dr. William C. Miller & Rev. Randy Wilmont officiating.

Interment : Methodist Cemetery - Caledonia, MO.

LeadBelt Patriot Guard Riders will lead Bill's funeral procession to Caledonia Methodist Cemetery for burial with Full Military Honors.
