Charles "Doughboy" Waylon Nelson

Charles “Dough Boy” Nelson, age 45, of Park Hills, MO, passed away Sunday, July 31, 2022, at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis. Charles was born on Wednesday, January 5, 1977 in Farmington, MO.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents; Ralph Nelson, Dennis and Irene Crader.

Charles enjoyed tinkering, finding treasures and making things out of them, he was very fond of traveling, and had a passion for painting, he was a collector of knives and rocks. Charles “Dough Boy” will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

  He is survived by his loving parents; Venita and husband Dale, Mike and wife Judy; four children, Destiny, Charity, Victoria and Meagan; two grandchildren; Meila and Kai. Two Bros, Cookie and Brian; aunt “Sissy” Annette and many other friends and family survive.

Visitation will be held Thursday, August 4, 2022 at CZ Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre, from 5:00PM until 9:00PM. The visitation will resume Friday, August 5, 2022 at 10:00 AM. until time of service at 1:00PM. with Pastor Rob Hampton, officiating. Burial will follow at Smith Cemetery in Oates, MO., Reynolds County.

Arrangements are under the direction of CZ Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre.
