Charles L. Trautman

Charles L. Trautman, 83, of Terre Du Lac passed away February 19, 2016. He was born August 2, 1932 in Ste. Genevieve to the late Joseph P. and Genevieve “LaLa” Trautman. Also preceding him in death was his brother, Donald Trautman and brother-in-law, Stanley Jett.

Charles is survived by his wife of 60 years, Arliss C. Trautman; son, Barry Trautman; daughter, Cindy (Marvin) Detring; sister, Georgia Jett; brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Carol Trautman; sister-in-law, Patricia Trautman. Many nieces, nephews, friends and faithful pet, Tiffy also survive.

Charles donated his body to Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. A memorial mass will be held Saturday, April 9, 2016 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bonne Terre with Rev. John Schneider officiating. A luncheon will follow. Memorials may be made to the Farmington Pet Adoption Center or The Arthritis Foundation. Arrangements are under the direction of C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre.
