Charles "Tiny" Yates

Charles Laverne Yates known to most as "Tiny" passed away July 4, 2020 in Farmington, Missouri at the age of 84 years. He was born December 9, 1935 in Marktree, Arkansas the son of the late Charles Edward and Charlcie Emmaline (Lee) Yates. Tiny is survived by four children: Terry Yates of Ironton, Charlcie Yates and fiancé, Thomas Roever of Farmington, Jessie Yates of Ironton, and Jeffie Bauer and husband, Edward of Salem, Missouri. Also surviving are two sisters; Mary Ann Swaringim of Hogan and Melinda Yates of Belleview and his brother, Danny Yates also of Belleview, five grandchildren, four great grandchildren as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, Tiny was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon Sue (Bazzell) Yates, two children; Charles Lee Yates and Daniella Yates, two brothers; Edward Yates and Lee Yates, and his sister, Sarah Jane Yates. Tiny was a mechanic for most of his life. He enjoyed drinking coffee and visiting with people.
