Charley Skaggs

Charley Skaggs, age 90, of Fredericktown, Missouri passed away on Sunday, January 29, 2017 at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. He was born on May 28, 1926 in Fredericktown, a son of Paul and Ruth (Schulte) Skaggs. On June 18, 1960 at St. Michael's Church he was united in marriage to Marjorie Susan "Sue" Head, she preceded him in death on February 3, 2015. His parents and brother, John Paul Skaggs also precedes him. He is survived by one daughter & son-in-law - Charla & Grover Francis of Cherokee Pass, Missouri; one brother & sister-in-law - Raymond & Martha Skaggs of Fredericktown; grandson - Jesse and wife Carin Francis of Midlothian, Texas; granddaughter - Holly Francis of Jonesboro, Arkansas and great-grandchildren - Cade Francis and Cyleigh Owens. Charley was joint ownership of Paul Skaggs & Sons Feed Store in Fredericktown along with his father and brothers, Raymond and John Paul Skaggs; he enjoyed reading, selling real estate and driving the feed truck. He was a 441st Degree member of the Fredericktown Knights of Columbus and a member of St. Michael the Archangel Church in Fredericktown. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m until 11:00 a.m, on Saturday, February 4, 2017 at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Fredericktown with a memorial service immediately following at 11:00 a.m at the church with Fr.
