Mr. Charlie Richard Chiles passed away late Thursday night, February 19, 2004, at the Colonial Care Nursing Home in Granite City, IL., at the age of 68 years, 3 months & 29 days. Charlie was born Oct. 20, 1935, in Greenville, MO., to James Walter Chiles & Myrtle Julie 'Gentry' Chiles. Also preceding-in-death were: 1 Brother, Floyd Chiles; & 6 Sisters: Ada Rose; Lola Eaves; Elsie McKee; Jewell "Judy" Gibbs; Nadine Russell & 1 Sister, in-infancy. SURVIVORS INCLUDE: His WIFE - Geraldine 'Russell' Chiles, of Farmington; 1 DAUGHTER: Sharron Chiles, of Granite City, IL; 3 BROTHERS: James Chiles, of St. Louis; Bill Chiles, of St. Louis; Loyd (& Loretta) Chiles, of Florissant. Also Surviving Are Many Nieces & Nephews. Visitation Sunday, 3-7 p.m. Visitation resumes Monday at 7:00 a.m., & funeral Monday, 11:00 a.m., February 23, 2004, at TAYLOR Funeral Service CHAPEL, with Rev. Henry Crippen officiating. Interment follows at the Mountain View Cemetery in Des Arc, Missouri
