Charlotte Carol Allen

Charlotte Carol Jones Allen entered into the presence of our Lord and Savior on Friday, October 9, 2026 at the age of 78 years at Missouri Baptist Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. She was born January 1, 1948 at Birch Tree, Missouri to Robert “Bob” Jones and Wilma Klipper Jones. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Barbara Ann Jones Clements and Virginia Jones Maize; two brothers-in-law, Ernest Maize andCyrus Boyer and one brother, JayDee Jones.

In 1965 Charlotte was first married to James “Jeep” Maize. To this union was born her two children. In 1990 Charlotte married James Michael “Jim” Allen. Charlotte is survived by her husband Jim, one daughter, Sheila Krekeler and husband Jeff, of Farmington, Missouri; one son, Robert Maize and wife, Laura of Farmington, Missouri; one step-son Matthew Allen and wife, Kimbra of PlantCity, Florida; three sisters, Joellen Ross and husband, Don of Kansas City, Kansas; Sue Boyer-Cluck and husband, Terry of St. Charles, Missouri, Diane Hagerty and husband, Jimmy of Park Hills, Missouri; one sister-in-law, Vickie Jones of Park Hills, Missouri; eight grandchildren, Gray Krekeler, Henry Krekeler, Brittany Nicole Maize, Beau Maize, Litany Worley and husband Garrett, Ethan Maize, Clayton Maize and Sophia Maize; nine great grandchildren, Karsen, Colton, Austen, Myla, Luca, Carter, Winston, Ryland and Maren, many nieces and nephews and her beloved dog Zoe who was frequently referred to as Rob and Sheila’s step-sister.

Charlotte loved her family very much and it was her consistent prayer that all would find eternal salvation through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Charlotte Jones Allen was a 1965 graduate of Winona High School at Winona, Missouri. She graduated Mineral Area College School of Nursing and worked at hospitals and nursing homes in the Farmington area.

Charlotte loved traveling to the ocean, rivers and lakes and documenting those trips through her hobby of photography.

Visitation for Charlotte will be held at C.Z. Boyer Funeral Home, Taylor Chapel in Farmington on Friday, October 16, 2026 from 10:00 am until service time at 11:00 am with Pastor Tim Morgan officiating. Charlotte will be laid to rest at Pleasant Site Cemetery, Fremont, Missouri.
