Charlotte Rose Cureton, age 52 of Fredericktown, Missouri passed away on Saturday, December 12, 2005, at the Stockhoff Memorial Nursing Center in Fredericktown. She was born on January 23, 1953, in Cape Girardeau, Missouri to Frank Elake and Verna Maude (Miller) Cureton.
She is survived by six brothers – Delmar (Pat) Cureton of Fredericktown, Troy (Irene) Cureton of Fredericktown, Paul (Nancy) Cureton of Fredericktown, Jack (Joyce) Cureton of Smiths Grove, Kentucky, Carl (Joyce) Cureton of Fredericktown and Donnie Cureton of Fredericktown; five sisters – Betty James of Mt. Vernon, Illinois, Shirley (Jerry) Bennett of Fredericktown, Brenda (Donnie) Pogue of Fredericktown, Linda (Wayne) Beatty of Barnhart, Missouri and Carol (Terry) Vance of Burlington, Iowa;
brother-in-law – Milford "Cub" Yount and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one sister – Olga Jean Yount.
Charlotte was a very outgoing person; she enjoyed walking, working latch hook and crossword puzzles; she was a member of Calvary Temple Church in Fredericktown.
Visitation was from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m., on Sunday, December 4, 2005, at Wilson Funeral Home in Fredericktown.
Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m., on Monday, December 5, 2005, at Calvary Temple Church in Fredericktown with Pastors Carl Cureton and Terry Vance officiating.
Interment was at Walker Cemetery in Fredericktown.
