Charlotte Ann Mendoza

Charlotte Ann Mendoza, age 78, passed away peacefully at her home in Farmington, Missouri, on Tuesday, December 23, 2025. She was born on Saturday, January 11, 1947, in Flat River to the late James “Bud” Marvin and Virginia Collett.

Along with her parents, Charlotte was preceded in death by her loving husband, Calvin James Mendoza; siblings, Wilma Politte, Jean Satterfield, James Collett.

After raising her two sons, James and Devlin, she dedicated herself to a fulfilling career in the retail industry, where she worked in department stores, bringing joy and warmth to the many customers she encountered. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family. Charlotte was of Catholic faith.

In honor of Charlotte's life, a graveside service will be held at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery on Friday, January 2, 2026, at 11:00 AM. Charlotte Ann Mendoza will be deeply missed, yet her legacy of love, kindness, and resilience will endure in the hearts of all who knew her. Arrangements are under the direction of C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home – Taylor Chapel in Farmington.
