Cheryl Lynn Weible, age 77, of Bonne Terre, MO, peacefully departed this world on Tuesday, March 10, 2026. Born on Monday, September 27, 1948, in Washington, MO, Cheryl was a cherished sister, mother, and grandmother whose life was a beautiful tapestry woven with love, laughter, and devotion to family.
Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene G. and Iva M. Pierce Weible, three brothers, Kenneth Weible, Bob Weible, and Billy Weible.
Her work was a testament to her strong work ethic, yet she always skillfully balanced her professional life with her commitment to family. Those who knew her will remember her as a steadfast supporter, whose love knew no bounds. Cheryl was a member of the Centenary United Methodist Church in Bonne Terre, where her faith flourished. Her love for God and commitment to her Christian values guided her through life and inspired those around her. A true lover of nature, she delighted in the blooms of her rose garden, which mirrored her vibrant spirit. Cheryl had a zest for life that included many interests: she loved to travel, spending many winters in Mexico, enjoyed bowling and golfing, and was an avid fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and St. Louis Blues. Her fondness for classic television shows such as The Golden Girls and her enthusiasm for game shows and card games, especially Pinochle, showcased her playful spirit and sense of joy.
Cheryl is survived by her beloved daughters, Stacey Kay and husband Shawn and Michelle Mullins and husband Nicholas; her six cherished grandchildren, Emily Kay-Maguire and wife Darby, Andrew Kay, Thaddeus Kay, Sawyer Kay, Grant Mullins, and Cole Mullins; her brothers, Ed Weible (Mary Lee) and Sam Weible (Jeannie); and her sisters, Patti O'Connor (Tom) and Vicki Weible (Duane Byington); sister in-law Linda Weible; honorary sister and cousin Judy Midgett; her children’s father, David (Susan) Dix; special friends Connie and Rooster; along with many nieces, nephews, family, and friends, especially the Girls of ’66. Each of them treasured their time with her and will remember her warmth and wisdom fondly.
Cheryl's legacy will live on through the love she cultivated in her family. She truly lived by the mantra of “family first.” She will be deeply missed but remembered in the hearts of all who have had the pleasure of knowing her.
Memorial visitation will be held at the Cornerstone facility on Sunday, March 15, 2026, from 2:00 P.M. until a celebration of her life at 3:30 P.M. to share memories and reflect on the profound impact she had in our lives. May she live in eternal peace. Memorials can be made in Cheryl's honor to the Centenary United Methodist Church in Bonne Terre.
The family would like to express their gratitude to Legacy Hospice for the profound care given to their mother and sister.
Arrangements are under the direction of C.Z. Boyer Funeral Home in Bonne Terre.
