Chester Ray McKay

            Ray McKay, 87, of Park Hills, passed away May 13, 2019, at St. Joe Manor in Bonne Terre. He was born January 11, 1932, in Mississippi, to the late Alva and Mabel (Fox) McKay. He was a member of the Bismarck First Baptist.

            Ray is survived by his loving wife, Ethel “Lee” (Bowers) McKay; two sons, Barry Wayne McKay, Kevin Ray McKay and wife Phebe; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; siblings, Alva McKay Jr., Eloyce Barnhart, Gladys (Al) Meador, and Joyce Jones; Many nieces, nephew, and close friends also survive.

            His service was held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, followed by an internment at Bonds Cemetery in Knobel, AR. Memorials may be directed to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
