Christine Mildred Lyles

Mrs. Christine Mildred 'Ayers' Lyles passed away Monday, March 23, 2015, at Southbrook Skilled Nursing, Farmington, at the age of 83 years, 9 months & 29 days. Christine was born May 24, 1931, in Dyersburg, TN., and was the daughter of Arthur C. Ayers & Annie L. 'Taylor' Ayers. Also preceding-in-death were: a son, Terry Neil McBride, Sr., 1 brother, Robert Ayers & 4 sisters, Pasty Armon, Shirley Charleville, Betty Caldwell & Nellie Pearl Ayers, in-infancy.

Christine loved gardening, being a homemaker & seamstress. She was a marvelous cook & enjoyed Square Dancing. Christine attended the Irondale Church of the Nazarene.

Survivors Include : her husband, Barney Lyles, of Park Hills. A daughter, Linda White, of Park Hills. A son, Larry Kenneth McBride, of Frankclay. Step-Daughter, Rebecca Thomas, of Park Hills. Stepson, Timothy Lyles, of Hawaii. Daughter-in-law, Michelle McBride, of MO; A sister, Geneva (& Norman) Marler, of Irondale. 5 brothers: Cecil (& Shirley) Ayers, of Troy, MO; Lynn (& Carroll) Ayers, of Barnhart; Ronnie (& Phyllis) Ayers; Johnny Ayers and David (& Kathie) Ayers, all of St. Louis. Also, 10 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; numerous nieces & nephews.

Visitation : Friday, 5-8 p.m. Visitation resumes, Saturday @ 6:30 a.m.

Funeral : Saturday, 10:00 a.m., March 28, 2015

Interment follows at : Big River Cemetery - Irondale
