Christopher Capps

Chris Capps, 38, of Leadington, passed away March 14, 2024. He was born in Farmington, June 10, 1985, to William “Bill” and Tammy (Davis) Capps.  Chris graduated from North County Public Schools, class of 2004.  He enjoyed art collages, music, poetry, video games and watching movies.  

He was preceded in death by maternal grandpa, Jerry Davis; paternal grandparents, David and Carole Capps.

Chris is survived by his parents, Bill and Tammy Capps; siblings, Jackie Hartley and husband Trent, Adam Capps and wife Kayci, Olivia Schrum and husband Austin; four nieces, Sophia, Hazel, Charlotte, Nora; two nephews, Ben and Will; maternal grandma, Wanda Davis; special friends, Denver Johnson, Jesse Ellis, Brandy Gorcyca, Chris Wilson, Dustin Jones and numerous other friends. 

Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Tuesday, March 19, 2024, from 10:00 AM until he time of service at 1:00 PM.  Reverend Dennis Conway will be officiating.  Interment will follow at St. Francois Memorial Park in Bonne Terre.  Memorials may be directed to Southeast Missouri Mental Health Center or Bridge of Hope, both of Farmington.
