Christopher Jon "Marty" Miller

Christopher "Marty" Miller, 55, of Cabot AR, passed away on Sunday, December 28, 2014. He was born on January 25, 1959 in Bonne Terre, MO to the late Helen (Rokan) Miller. Marty worked as an engineer for the Union Pacific Railroad for over 25 years, transferring to Central Arkansas in 1998. He was an avid Democrat who loved his children and grandchildren and devoted a lot of love and care to his oldest daughter Jesseca. Marty was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and Bonne Terre Jaycees. He coached and umped for Bonne Terre baseball leagues, and may be remembered as the "Short Santa." He also enjoyed watching the St. Louis Cardinals. Marty is survived by his daughters, Jesseca and Mary Miller; grandchildren, James Christopher Miller and Evelyn Christine Miller; two brothers, Tim Miller and wife Tina, Jerry Rokan and wife Norma; as well as a host of extended family and friends. A visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre, Thursday, January 1, 2015 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral mass will be held Friday, January 2, 2015 at The St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bonne Terre at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Bonne Terre.
