Christopher Joe Shunk

Christopher Joe Shunk of Columbia, Missouri passed away December 20, 2022 at the age of 35 years. He was born August 2, 1987, in Farmington, Missouri the son of the late Joe Earl Shunk Jr. and Joyce Ann (Nabors) Shirley of Lincoln, Missouri. Chris is survived by his mother and stepfather, Joyce and Curt Shirley of Lincoln, Missouri. His sister, Jennifer Bachand (Michael) of Ironton, Missouri, his grandfather, Joe Shunk Sr. of Ironton, Missouri, his son, Dillon Shunk of Ste, Genevieve, Missouri, niece and nephew, Kylie and Devin Bachand, and his aunt Cindy Nabors of Farmington, Missouri as well as a host of other relatives and friends. In addition to his father, Chris was preceded in death by his grandmother, Dixie Shunk, grandparents; Oscar and Thelma Jean Nabors, and his uncle; Paul "Andy" Shunk.
